From day courses in data handling to four-year PhD projects, The University of Manchester at Harwell team supports a wide range of teaching and learning activities.
In particular, we support the teaching and learning activities of a number of Centres for Doctoral Training, including the RegenMed, Materials for Demanding Environments, Graphene NOWNANO and Advanced Metallic Systems CDTs.
Such activities range from short orientation visits to the national facilities at Harwell Campus, to week-long residential courses where students are given hands-on instruction for running experiments, and how to apply the learning to their own research projects.
Our access to resident experts within the national facilities enables the development of engaging and highly relevant courses for these visiting students.
